We are a locally owned and operated Houston restaurant.
China View brings a sample of the myriad types of regional Chinese food and flavors to a loyal following of Houston diners, newcomers and travelers. We enjoy being able to use the best local Gulf seafood and Texas grown produce to our authentic Chinese ingredients to create our special dishes. Although we offer everyone's traditional Chinese-American favorites that have a 100 year old history in the U.S., we also offer dishes that are representative of Chinese home cooking and contemporary Asian fusion dishes to please our guests. Each quarter, we change our substantial special menu to bring you a selection of exciting and appropriate dishes for each season. Wine is not neglected on our menu either, and we are proud of our well thought out and reasonably priced wine selection. This is our view of the continued evolution of fine Chinese cuisine un-America with an understanding and appreciation for Texas-style tastes.

On weekends, China View devotes its brunch menu to one of our passions, dim sum! Our dim sum menu shows off dim sum typical of a number of regional styles. Each dish is steamed or pan-fried as you order so it is always fresh and the proper serving temperature. A pleasing atmosphere for a fine meal is a matter to which we pay special attention. From our

Chinese antique-filled dining rooms to our background music and pleasing lighting, to our comfortable booths, we create a lovely environment for an enjoyable meal to be served by our professional, personable wait staff.

China View offers daily catering and delivery services and is very happy to announce the success of our new in home party services where Robin or one of our seasoned chefs is dispatched to cook up multiple dishes live, up close and personal, for customers and their invited guests. These events have been received most enthusiastically and provide an entertaining and education evening for all involved.

Another special event that we offer is our Tea Tasting Party and Five Course Tea Dinner. Robin is extremely knowledgeable about tea and presents a variety of teas to sample, a discussion about each, and a five course meal emphasizing not only an appropriate tea for each course, but dishes which include tea among their ingredients.
